Graduate Students Colloquium – ENC 2016

The Graduate Colloquium is a forum where graduate students from master and doctoral degree level in Computer Science or related fields present and discuss their work with each other and to a panel of experienced researchers and practitioners. The Colloquium will take place in Chihuahua, Chihuahua this November 14th, 2016.

Objectives

– Offer graduate students the opportunity to share and discuss their work with a panel of experts.
– Encourage students to participate in research related events.
– Promote the collaboration among graduate students and with the computer science researcher’s community in México.

Guidelines & Submission requirements

Applicants should submit a paper in English or Spanish following the ACM Proceedings template (http://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template). The maximum  extension for the paper is two pages. The submissions will be received through EasyChair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=enc20160).

We recommend the following structure for the documents:

–          Introduction
–          Related work
–          Research objective
–          Methodology
–          Achievements (advances in the thesis work)
–          Expected results
–          Conclusions
–          References

Notes

The accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings ENC’16 “Memorias del Encuentro Nacional de Ciencias de la Computación 2016” with ISBN.

Important dates

Papers submission [EXTENDED]: August 30th.
Notification of Acceptance: September 12th
Camera ready: September 16th
Colloquium date: November 14th
